Class Description: This hands-on class is designed to help you learn how to safely adapt and provide massage throughout all 4 trimesters of a perinatal journey especially the postpartum phase now called the 4th trimester. From conception through the 4th trimester you will gain a deeper understanding of anatomy, physiology, and pathology! You will learn about postural changes, muscles, and ligament involvement and how to safely treat and release restrictions. We will look at how pregnancy physically, mentally, and emotionally can look very different for each person! From someone who has achieved pregnancy through several IVF years of trying, is living with a miscarriage or loss history, chose or needed a c-section, or is living with Diatasis Recti. You will learn best practices and techniques to use when working with these and many issues with the 4th trimester. We will look at and learn about common complaints and conditions that can occur during a pregnancy, labor/delivery, and how to best provide massage to support them. You will have an understanding of current safety guidelines, contraindications, and scope of practice when providing massage.

Pricing: $139.00 early registration pricing through October 5, 2023 after that the fee is $179.00. Class is limited to 16.
Cancellations: CEH’s will be granted only to those who register and attend the entire class. No partial credit can/will be awarded.
Cancellations of more than 14 days prior to a class are eligible for a refund minus a $25 administrative fee. Cancellations less than 14 days are not refundable, but monies less a $100 processing fee may be applied to any future classes. No shows are not eligible for refund of any kind. Cancellations are based on post mark or email date and all cancellations must be in writing. Continuing Education Credit Certificates given only upon successful completion of class. No partial credit will be issued.
